SOME say the greatest adventure is a journey taken into unfamiliar grounds. This is so true when you go off road on 4x4 vehicles. You get the thrill of manoeuvring along rough terrain, jungle tracks, plantation paths and even across rivers. You won’t know how crazy off-road journeys can get until your vehicle lurches to a stop in a mud-hole and you toil to get your tyres out onto even ground. And this is considered a normal occurrence. Things get worse when it rains. You have to tame slushier and more rutted terrain. When night falls, very often the jungle will be your home where you will pitch your tent to the cacophony of sounds coming from the deep jungle. Sounds nightmarish? Not if an adventure streak runs through your veins. Some people thrive on this and they call roughing it out this way a holiday. You get to discover our country’s wonderful rainforest, rustic countryside and aboriginal reserves. Going in a convoy of 4x4 vehicles with other like-minded people adds to the fun. You get to form a bond even with strangers. In 4x4 journeys, teamwork is the keyword. You help one another and tackle any obstacle together. So, love the idea of exploring to a world of 4WD adventures is a passion, welcome t o the world of 4WD.
